Which Pilates Class is Right for me?

At HKôre, our Reformer Pilates classes blend classic Pilates principles with modern, evidence-based techniques. With your membership, you can choose different class styles each week depending on how your body feels and what you want to work on.

Each class is thoughtfully designed and led by an instructor, creating an experience that’s different every time you attend. This means no boring routines and no standing in the gym wondering what you should be doing next. 


We don’t teach specific beginner, intermediate, or advanced classes. Instead, we teach in layers. That means we start with a simple movement that everyone can do and if you want to make it more challenging (or, as we like to say in the studio, a little more spicy 🌶️), we’ll show you the next layer to add onto what you’re already doing. This allows you to adjust each class to your needs and gives you the freedom to attend any class on the timetable.

 


Our HKôre Reformer Pilates Classes (And Who They’re For)


🧘‍♀️ Classic - Our signature Reformer class. 

A powerful blend of classic Pilates and evidence-based teaching to improve strength, balance, coordination, mobility, and overall fitness. It’s a great option if you:

  • Are new to Reformer Pilates

  • Want to support gym training or other sports

  • Are returning to exercise after time off

🏋️ Strength - Weight training meets Pilates. 

Lower reps. Heavier springs. We push you to where it feels challenging (15 reps or fewer) because that’s where real strength is built. It’s especially popular with:

  • Gym-goers wanting to improve their form, mobility, and ability to lift heavier

  • People who want to maintain bone density and build muscle

  • Anyone focused on long-term strength and resilience

  • People who struggle with the coordination of classical Pilates and prefer simple movements 



🤸‍♀️ Plus+ - A playful blend of Pilates and calisthenics. 

Plus+ combines Reformer Pilates, mat work, and calisthenics to challenge coordination, control, and confidence. You don’t need to be a gymnast, you just need to be open to trying something new. This class is a great example of how Reformer Pilates can be dynamic, playful, and progressive. It’s suitable for those who are: 

  • Wanting to learn new skills, like handstands

  • Looking to move playfully and feel like a kid again

  • Craving a fun, dynamic workout that breaks up your routine



😌 Rebuild - A gentle version of our Classic class. 

Rebuild is designed for those who need more support, more time, or a gentler approach. It’s suitable if you:

  • Are returning after injury

  • Haven’t exercised in a while

  • Want to improve coordination and confidence

  • Want to attend a class that has an older age demographic

🥵 HIIT 30 - A high-intensity, fast-paced, full-body workout

Originally designed for people going through menopause, HIIT 30 quickly caught the attention of others who told us just how challenging and energising (and sweaty!🥵) it is. This 30-minute class uses the Reformer and bodyweight exercises to get your heart rate up while building bone and muscle strength and stamina. It’s ideal if you are: 

  • Wanting a quick full-body workout that improves strength and cardiovascular fitness

  • Looking to support bone health, maintain lean muscle, and improve insulin sensitivity

  • Short on time but still want a challenging session that leaves you feeling accomplished
