Pilates How it works
Terms and Conditions
Always consult your doctor before embarking on any new fitness program, especially if you have a pre-existing medical condition or have not exercised in a long time.
It is your responsibility to inform your instructor of any changes in your health and fitness that may impeded your ability to exercise safely with minimal risk of injury.
Each block is between 4-6 weeks long. This may increase with short notice. Payment for the entire block before it starts is essential to confirm your space.
If you cannot commit to a full block you can drop into classes at £28 per class for Reformer and £15 per class for Mat, depending on availability.
It’s a requirement that you take at least 1 private Pilates class before joining a group. In the 1-1 you will learn the basic principles, how to make pilates work for you and includes a postural assessment. It will also allow the instructor to slightly tailor the group session to your goals and posture. Your first private class is always heavily discounted. There is always so much to gain from a 1-1, but if you are very experienced then you may be able to skip the private and join straight in with the groups.
Blocks are booked on a first come, first served basis. You are assigned to the block you book e.g. 8am Tuesday and you attend that date and time for the duration of your block. To attend multiple sessions within a week you must book a second block.
Swap System
If you can’t make some of the dates within your block you can swap to another group in that week. This system is subject to availability and the following terms and conditions:
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, no swap will be offered or credit given.
The swap must be completed within the block itself. They cannot be carried over to future blocks, or be exchanged for 1:1s. It is up to the client to arrange the swaps in good time.
Swaps are subject to availability – arranging swaps as soon as possible will give you more choice. Please note you may need to be flexible in terms of day/time/teacher and level in order to book your swaps.
